Hunting

A unique hunting territory in Quebec

Whether it is for small game hunting, bear hunting or moose hunting, amateurs will be won over by the wild territory of La Seigneurie du Triton. Game is abundant and diversified because of a sound resource management. In fact, only a small number of hunters are allowed access each year to this domain of about 50 square kilometres.

Will you be one of the privileged?

Small game hunting at the outfitter’s

The numerous types of habitats at the outfitter allows for great species diversity for small game. From September 6th until October 11th 2025 you can thus go for:

  • Woodcock hunting
  • Ruffed grouse (partridge) hunting
  • Canadian grouse hunting
  • Hare hunting

Those who want to try a new experience can reserve the services of a hunting guide with his dog. For regulars, hunting is done by going through the trails, and you can bring your own dog.

Black bear hunting

If you want to experience a black bear hunting adventure in Quebec, La Seigneurie du Triton offers spring hunting from May 19th until June 15th 2025. You can hunt with a bow, crossbow, or firearm on our exclusive territory.

The hunting sites are carefully prepared: they are baited and equipped with observation towers to reduce the risk of the bear detecting the hunters’ presence. Custom packages are also available.

We conduct hunting on this territory strictly for population control purposes, as the bear population is excessive, causing a natural imbalance in the area. This also promotes better coexistence with humans.

Male moose hunting

Moose hunting at La Seigneurie du Triton is available on a selective basis, depending on herd size and availability, and is offered exclusively as part of a european plan. Please contact us so we can create a customized package for you. This hunt takes place:

  • From September 20th until October 5th 2025 for bow hunting
  • From October 11th until 26th 2025 for firearm, crossbow, and bow hunting

The reserved hunting territory can be explored on foot through our various trails, and you will also have access to watchtowers. The sites are maintained with salt licks and mud holes. Field dressing and quartering are included.
