La Seigneurie du Triton offers a unique black bear hunting experience in Quebec. Everything is offered to give you an exceptional hunting trip you’ll remember for a long time. Our black bear hunting sites in the Laurentides Wildlife Reserve are equipped with watchtowers to offer high efficiency observation but also to make you undetectable to bears. Our sites are carefully prepared and baited to guarantee a successful hunt.

Black bear hunting in an historic territory

In addition to enjoying the reception, accommodation and historical know-how in place since 1893, this great hunting and fishing club welcomes you to enjoy hunting black bear.

You’ll hunt on an exclusive territory of 900 km2 belonging to the Laurentides Wildlife Reserve.

La Seigneurie duTriton received the mandate to manage this scarcely exploited portion in an exceptional territory, giving you the chance to harvest your trophy bear.

How this hunt is conducted

The hunting is done in the late afternoon until late evening. Your adventure tour is under the supervision of our professional guide who will ensure quality hunting and will implement all his bait secrets for the success of your hunt.

The rest of the day you will enjoy outdoor activities and brook trout fishing at la Seigneurie du Triton.

Access to the hunting zone will be provided from La Seigneurie du Triton with your guide’s vehicle. He will manage a team of four hunters. Each hunter will have the opportunity to hunt on at least two baited sites to harvest it’s so desired trophy. Each site is in harmony with nature and the baits are biodegradable and safe for the environment. At any time, a maximum of 8 hunters on two groups will be present throughout the territory.

Hunting period: May 29th until June 13th

The black bear hunting package includes:

• 1 guide per group of 4 hunters
• Baited hunting areas with watchtowers
• 4 nights in a lodge, 1 night in a rustic camp, 6 days, hunting days are 2, 3, 4 and 5
• 3 meals / day + (snack during the hunt with water bottles included)
• Transport on hunting site
• Fishing includes: boat, motor, gas, gutting fish, smoking fish and storage. Fishing is  available on days 3, 4 and 5
• Arrivals are scheduled for 16:00 (the day before the beginning of the hunt) and departures in the morning between 8:30 and 11:30
• Right to take one black bear, (possibility for a second bear at an additional cost of $ 600, depending on the number of SEG licenses available, reserve in advance)

The package does not include:

• hunting license
• possibility for a second bear (at an additional cost)
• weapons and ammunition (you can rent)
• your drinks
• gratuities

Package price per person in double occupation (taxes not included)

• $ 2,655  for the stay at the Club House
• $ 2,775 for the stay at the Faunique or the Batiscan lodge
• Additional cost for single occupation is $40 per night

Any animal shot and wounded will be considered as killed
