The shack along the river

As of June 2020 it will be possible to stay in a brand new chalet at La Seigneurie du triton, its full of charm, character and very rustic. The historical heritage of the triton fish and game club will have a second life. This former camp was used to house guides and cooks many many years ago and has been left abandoned ever since but we have given it a complete makeover and it looks as good as ever!

The shack is an open space chalet which welcomes maximum 3 adults or 2 adults 2 children. Sit back and relax in this rustic, antique chic shack with its boho décor with a mixture of wood, metal, wicker, white is the dominant colour with its touches of yellow and grey fabrics.

The kitchen area is minimalist but has everything you will need to prepare your meals, the dining room table is overlooking the river. There is a bathroom with an antique shower. The fully functional solar panel system provides light throughout the shack and also provides clean energy to the refrigerator too. In the evenings you can warm up in front of the propane lit stove. The living has a double bed, a day bed and a trundle bed. To take in the most of its surrounding nature your living room is outdoors which is protected by a mosquito net, a great way to spend your evenings or early mornings with a coffee in front of a wood burning stove. This magical setting is certainly very unique and awaits you to enjoy all of its scenery.

The shack is located between the batiscan river and the biscuit lake as wel as being bordered by the rapid north. It can be accessed 5 minutes by motor boat from The Club House, which is available to you for your entire stay. On site all the amenities to perfect your stay will be available such as kayak, canoe and even our moose trail.

For those who are registered in a fishing package, it is possible to fish the first evening and the last morning the green lakes or cookies (on reservation) or even to tease the fish of the fast north. On full days, you have access to the large fishing territory as well as to the midday meal cooked on the grill at shore-lunch.

This package is available under the European plan formula, so you must ring your own food to make your stay more enjoyable. If you want to free yourself up and don’t feel like cooking it is possible to order packed lunch which will be delivered to your door.
