The astronomy package at the Seigneurie du Triton

Discover the starry night sky overlooking La Seigneurie du triton supervised by a passionate and qualified astronomer. The site is in the forest where there is no visual pollution, the visibility of the stars and the night sky is out of this world. La Seigneurie du Triton is currently in the process of obtaining an accreditation from the International Dark Sky Association as a Starry Sky Reserve, our territory is protected, and why not do the same with our sky?

Observe the night sky like never seen before! A weekend never to forget, in the means of preparation and observation of the sky, as well as the basis of photo astronomy. No equipment on your part is required, only your eyes will allow you to aim higher than the stars.

Hurry, as we only have a limited amount of spaces for this amazing experience, these spaces will leave as quick as a shooting star in the sky!

The astronomy package includes:

  • 2 buffet breakfasts
  • 2 midday meals in the dining room
  • 2 evening meals at the table d’hôte
  • Accommodation for 2 nights in the Batiscan inn with private bathroom
  • Access to outdoor activities and equipment
  • Access to astronomy equipment and technical assistance

Dates to take advantage of this package :

From the 28th to the 30th of June 2024 

Arrival no earlier than 4 pm and departure no later than 2.30 pm.

Price for the 2-night stay, per adult in double occupancy: $ 580 per adult

We also take groups of 6-10 people to choose a date of your choice.

Day 1

  • Arrival for the boat transfer from 4 p.m., reception and installation in the room
  • 5 p.m. general presentation on astronomy
  • 19h to 20h30 Table d’hôte meal in the dining room
  • 8:30 p.m. Orientation session in the sky (Star Hopping)
  • 10 p.m. Telescope and binocular observation until exhaustion
  • 10 p.m. Astro-photography initiation group (optional, maximum of 6 participants)
  • Snack and coffee will be served

Day 2

  • 7 am to 10 am Buffet breakfast
  • Free time to walk in the forest or go canoeing
  • 12 noon Lunch in the dining room
  • 2 p.m. Return activity the day before and presentation of planetarium and image processing software
  • 30 p.m. Evening planning activity (objects to observe or photograph)
  • 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Table d’hôte meal in the dining room
  • 10 p.m. Telescope and binocular observation until exhaustion
  • 10 p.m. Astrophotography initiation group (optional, maximum of 6 participants)
  • Snack and coffee will be served

Day 3

  • 7am to 10am buffet breakfast
  • Time to go free walk in the forest or go canoeing
  • 12 noon lunch in the dining room
  • Departure no later than 2.30pm
