Hiking Trails Laid Out in the Forest

At La Seigneurie du Triton, dozens of kilometres of trails await hikers and outdoor enthusiasts. For hikes in the forest, eight trails (including one of more than 20 kilometres) go through wilderness and mountains, over brooks and rivers, leading you to the discovery of magnificent lakes. See the map of the hiking trails to plan your itinerary.

Enjoy our all-inclusive package and spend entertaining vacation time alone, as a couple, or with the family. The package includes accommodation in our charming forest inn, bedding, meals, and outdoor activities: dynamic animation for those who will be ready to participate in various water sports and forest activities, and discreet animation for those who want to enjoy the peace and quiet of this magnificent, jealously guarded, typical Quebec forest. Here is the selection of day and evening activities that are offered. They can be chosen one at a time or regrouped in a predetermined schedule: hiking trails, wildlife interpretation trails, fur-bearing animals and trapping interpretation trail, mycology interpretation trail, canoeing, kayaking, rabaska canoeing, pedal boating, paddle boarding, swimming in the lake and the river, visiting of the Triton station, observing with interpretation of a peat bog, picking and tasting of wild berries and mushrooms (seasonal), pétanque and playgrounds for children, archery range, campfire with marshmallows and tea, night rides on the water with the telling of ancient legends, observation of the Milky Way, a slide show, or a film about Quebec fauna.

For your safety and comfort:

  • It’s your responsibility to wear your life jacket at all times during water activities.
  • Children must wear a life jacket that corresponds to their respective size and weight.
  • It’s your duty to keep children under parental supervision.
  • Swimming is at your own risk.
  • Campfires are permitted in designated areas,, except when the fire index is too high.
  • All cameras and electronic devices should be protected in waterproof cases. If you don’t have one, it’s best to leave your devices in your room.
  • If you wish to bring them on a water excursion, you do so at your own risk. La Seigneurie du Triton cannot be held responsible for material damages in case of contact with water.
  • It’s important to wear proper footwear on paths with natural obstacles such as rocks, branches, roots, water holes and mud.
  • During the mosquito season, it’s preferable to wear long, light clothing and use insect repellent, preferably bought in Quebec for better efficiency.
